what do we offer?

Tear Trough

Our eyes are the focal point and an important feature that brings out the beauty and emotion in our face, and so the frame around it presents a common and prevalent cosmetic concern. The tear trough is the area and groove between your lower eyelid and cheek.

For certain individuals, dark circles, hollow and sunken tear troughs are hereditary. While other individuals tear trough start to become more prominently hollow, often forming dark circles and creases with age or certain lifestyle factors. As we age, tear troughs become more prominent because facial tissues lose volume and collagen as you get older, and this can be restored and treated with tear trough dermal fillers.

Tear trough treatment, sometimes referred to as undereye filler, instantly revives and rejuvenates your under eyes, reducing dark circles and lines. This is done through non-surgical and non-invasive injections, with dermal fillers carefully used for the under eyes.

Dermal fillers are the most effective for long lasting and instant results that minimise hollows, dark circles and lines under the eyes, and as a result will reduce the appearance of tiredness, exhaustion and old age. With the tear trough treatment, the under eye can appear to be brighter, firmer and plumped, helping you look and feel more wide awake and youthful.

Jowl Reduction

Loose, sagging skin along the jawline is an issue that is commonly referred to as 'jowls' or 'jowling', particularly skin that sinks below the jaw itself. Jowls are a common concern that usually makes an appearance at some point in our forties, as loss of volume and elasticity start to show in the skin

Loss of normal facial fat tissue due to gravity and the ageing process can cause skin on the lower face to droop and sag, causing jowl folds to appear along your jawline. By using dermal filler to the pre-jowl sulcus, volume can be added to these loose skin folds, helping to tighten, lift, and restore a smoother, more defined jawline. This treatment can also be combined with Botox to the platysmal bands or Nefertiti lift to help reduce the pull of the muscles against the jowls.

Non surgical Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is one of the most sought-after nonsurgical cosmetic procedures, however many patients are worried about the possible complication and the prospect of adverse results. Nose filler is safe and is a non-invasive substitute for conventional rhinoplasty. Using the precise placement of the fillers, we can even out bumps, balance asymmetry, and sculpt a different shape for your nose.

This is an exceptional and affordable option for those wanting to change their nose’s shape and who do not want surgery. The results are instant with no excessive downtime, no general anaesthetic and no prolonged healing process.

Cheek Augmentation

As we age, there is a loss in facial volume causing many changes to the face, such as the flattening or sagging of the cheeks. This is caused by the shift in facial fats and the loss of collagen, which can make the face appear aged.

Areas of the face start to lose their structural support and the even distribution of face fat around the cheeks, mouth, eyes, forehead, and temples changes and slowly starts to decline, as we get older.

Plump and round cheeks start to sag and sink, causing hollowness under the eyes or in other words, the tear trough area. Lips start to shrink and lose their plumpness, causing vertical lines to appear. This results in a young, full face to appear older and thin.

Cheek fillers, also known as cheek augmentation treatment, provide volume to and around your cheekbones. Dermal fillers are used to create that instant ‘plumping’ effect, restoring and boosting the volume of the cheeks and give definition to the natural cheekbone structure, recreating the youthful contours of the face.

The treatment is tailored to your individual face shape, needs and goals and once injected, the filler enhances the cheek size, definition and shape. This not only empowers augmentation of the cheeks but also provides a lift to the mid and lower face.

Chin Augmentation

A well-proportioned chin blends gently into the face. The chin can be enhanced using dermal filler, improving chin volume and balancing facial proportions. Treatments with dermal fillers are performed by highly experienced practitioner Louise

CHIN ENHANCEMENT BENEFITS

  • Stronger, defined face contour

  • Improved facial symmetry

  • Tighten sagging skin

  • Non-surgical treatment

  • Smoothen lower face wrinkles like marionette lines

The aim of non-surgical chin augmentation is to make the chin stronger and more harmonious with the help of high-quality hyaluronic acid. By injecting the chin area with fillers, the volume is enhanced and the proportions of the face profile are improved. Chin filler treatment can also have an anti-aging effect, tightening the skin around the mouth and neck, smoothening lines. For an overall harmoniously defined

Brow Lift

A lateral brow lift is a procedure that can be very effective for people with mild to moderate brow heaviness due to naturally-dropping eyelids or low-hanging eyebrows, for example. The brow lift literally raises the skin tissues surrounding the eyes and eyebrows, so that the natural eyebrow arch is a few millimetres higher. It tends to leave the eyes looking wider and more youthful. please bare in mind if you have significant excess skin above the beye this may not give you the desired results and surgery may be a better option.

A brow lift with dermal fillers can be achieved by injecting the fillers into the area above the eyes to help restore the fullness of the upper eyelid. The fat around the upper eyelid and brow area is gradually lost with age, which can lead to a skeletal looking brow. Dermal fillers restore the volume of the skin in this area, giving the patient a more youthful appearance.

The Tinkerbell lift technique involves injecting a small amount of hyaluronic acid-based filler into the tip of the nose to create that subtle uplifted effect and tip projection. This is an effective solution for those with a slightly droopy tip to the nose or for those simply wanting to achieve a more refined, lifted and feminine finish.

WHEN ARE JAW FILLERS USED?

Jaw Fillers are used to:

  • Define the jawline and create a straighter appearance

  • Helps to tighten a Sagging Neck

  • Tighten a weak-looking jaw and reduce the appearance of Jowls

  • Reduce the appearance of Marionette Lines

WHO ARE JAW FILLERS SUITABLE FOR

This is a complex area as Jawline Fillers are not suitable for everyone. For example, for those who already have a Sagging Neck or a Double Chin, there may be the need for a different approach depending on the underlying cause of the loss of definition. You will be invited for a consultation with one of your Medical Professionals who will assess your area of concern and be able to accurately advise on the best treatment for you.

Nasolabial Folds

Nasolabial folds are the deep expression lines that form from the corners of your nose to the mouth. These creases become more prominent whenever you laugh or smile and become deeper as we age.  People commonly mistaken migrated lips causing nasolabial folds, after dissolving migration we have noticed a massive difference in these folds, we can access this prior to treatment.

During the ageing process, our face experiences volume loss causing those folds to deepen and become more prominent even when the face is relaxed. Our Nasolabial Folds treatment uses dermal fillers to target these folds and creases, providing a refreshed and youthful image that looks both subtle and natural.

How are Nasolabial Folds treated?

At lma, we tackle deep folds and hollows that appear in the lines between the nose and mouth with dermal fillers. Utilising a personalised treatment, we smooth out the cavity around the mouth by either plumping out the fold itself or lifting the skin above it with cheek fillers.

Both treatments will leave you with restored volume and a subtle, naturally refreshed appearance. With our Nasolabial Folds treatment, you can maintain a healthy and youthful appearance and get back to smiling naturally without worry.

We take a holistic approach to the treatment of the Nasolabial Folds and assess other areas commonly causing midface volume loss that contribute to deepening of these lines. During the consultation your practitioner will advise on other areas that may require treatment to ensure your best overall results.

Marionette Lines

Marionette lines are facial wrinkles that occur with natural aging. The lines run vertically between the mouth and chin, which can also create sagging in the lower half of your face.

Marionette lines get their name from marionette string puppets, which are known for having split jaws so puppeteers can help them talk. The skin around your mouth is particularly prone to wrinkling because it’s thinner compared with the rest of your face.

These types of wrinkles tend to develop by your 40s, but you may start seeing signs of them in your 20s and 30s.

Botulinum toxin type A (Botox) injections (downwards smile), (smile lift) are popular solutions for facial wrinkles around the mouth and eyes. These work by relaxing the facial muscles underneath the injection site. In turn, your skin will become smoother with a reduced appearance in wrinkles. If once the marionette lines are treated with botox and this doesn't fully help the indentation then filler can be used

Midface Filler

Better understanding of how the face ages has identified that there is:

  • a significant loss of structural support due to bone resorption,

  • fat loss (lipoatrophy)

  • downward migration of soft tissue.

The majority of these changes are most noticeable in the mid-face – defined roughly as the region from the lower eyelid to the area just above the top lip.

midface volumization with fillers requires a thorough understanding of midface anatomy and the changes that occur with aging to place the appropriate filler at the ideal depth. Midface aging is complex, and the structural changes affected by the midface aging processes involve all of the tissues of the midface region, including the skin, fat, ligaments, muscles, and bones.

The midface area is the foundation for many facial rejuvenation treatments. Often our patients ask for ‘cheek filler’ when actually midface filler or a combination of filler treatments is better suited to their goals.

Why should I have midface dermal fillers? Here are 5 reasons

1. Midface fillers can help minimise the signs of ageing, such as nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines), marionette lines (mouth to chin lines), jowls (the areas that hand over the jawline) and of course, can minimise the signs of the tear trough.

These signs are often just symptoms of midface loss and treating the nasolabial folds, marionettes, tear trough or jowls with filler is only treating a symptom, but not addressing the actual cause of the problem. By re-inflating the midface, you can minimise the signs of facial ageing.

2. Treating the midface puts less pressure on the lower face, meaning you need less filler in the lower face and therefore less filler over time.

3. When you treat the midface, you prevent tissues sagging in the future and saves you money in the long run.

4. The midface is the centre of the face and is where most people first look. Having a filled midface will improve the general appearance of the face by adding volume, removing angles and shadows.

5. Midface fillers improve eye support, helping minimise eye bags and signs of tired eyes.
