Plenhyage XL is an injectable skin treatment which is designed to help tissue repair. It improves skin quality, thickness, hydration, and promotes new collagen formation.

This polymerised, polynucleotide-based injectable gel works by stimulating fibroblasts, encouraging cell turnover, improving elasticity, boosting collagen production and hydrating the skin.

Polynucleotides are essentially a skin booster. They improve the skin quality in the area injected by providing the building blocks of skin hydration and stimulating the generation of fibroblasts and collagen. They help with cellular repair and regeneration, moisturisation, and protection against harmful external agents such as UV rays.

The polynucleotide chains attract and bind water molecules, allowing them to provide a strong moisturising effect, which can contribute to improved tissue elasticity. They have a remarkable anti-free radical action. They counteract the skin damage which can accumulate due to various stressors, including cellular damage, stress, and exposure to UV rays, giving them a protective and cell damage reduction role. Polynucleotides create an optimal environment for fibroblast growth, essential cells for tissue repair and regeneration.

WHAT ARE THEIR BENEFITS?

All that collagen-boosting, extra hydration and elasticity means you can think of polynucleotides as a super-charged injectable moisture treatment. They can be a preventative treatment for younger skin, or a recovery treatment for ageing skin.

They aid in reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin texture and smoothness by promoting the formation of new skin cells and enhancing overall skin health. They exhibit hydrating properties and improve the skin’s ability to retain water, promoting healthier and more supple skin. They can soothe and calm skin, reducing redness, irritation, and inflammation caused by various skin conditions, including acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea.

They’re also very effective in treating loss of elasticity in the face and neck, crepey or saggy neck, under-eye darkness, and are also useful for treating various body areas beyond the face and neck, such as the décolletage, upper arms, and conditions like acne, stretch marks, and scars.

We love using them to address darkness and laxity around the eyes as they deliver such remarkable results. They’re particularly useful for patients who aren’t suitable for tear trough filler, or who might have a tendency to puffiness if treated with hyaluronic acid-based products.

In short, there isn’t much that polynucleotides can’t do and almost anyone can benefit from their rejuvenating effects.

HOW DO THEY COMPARE TO FILLERS?

While both treatments are injected into the skin, that

is where their similarities end. Unlike hyaluronic

acid-based fillers, the results of polynucleotides aren’t

as immediate because change must happen at a cellular

level.

Polynucleotides are used to rejuvenate

the skin and improve overall skin quality

whilst dermal fillers add volume to treated

areas, to give structure, definition, and contour

to the face. Polynucleotides don’t contain

hyaluronic acid like fillers do. Instead, they

are comprised of biopolymers – stretchy molecules

made from fragments of fish DNA. Despite their differences, polynucleotides work very well in conjunction with HA fillers, meaning you’ll get both an instant and long-term boost.

Disclaimer: Please be aware that results and benefits may vary from patient to patient taking into consideration factors such as age, lifestyle and medical history.

It is a highly versatile product which has a host of potential applications, including treatment for acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea as well as the signs of ageing.

In addition to treatments for the upper, mid and lower face, Plenhyage XL can also be used to treat the neck, décolletage, inner arms, thighs, and knees. It will also be particularly useful for difficult areas such as the neck and beneath the eyes.

Currently on the market there are not many treatments that can address and deliver results for the neck area.

Neck can be difficult to treat due to our anatomy and skin on this area is quite sensitive that makes any treatment challenging.

The most common concerns are:

  • lack of elasticity,

  • line,

  • sagginess and

  • skin textures.

Polynucleotides (PDRN) due to it’s regenerative properties successfully works on the neck area with long lasting results.

Plenhyage XL is a game changer for treating the neck.

It activates fibroblast and stem cells respecting the biological time of tissue formation.

Plenhyage XL treats areas that is affected by sun damage, age spots, and lack of elasticity

Polynucleotides are important tools available to regenerative medicine to counteract the aging processes.

The results will be visible after 20 days after the first session.

We recommend 4 treatments, 1 every 21 days.

The neck is a very sensitive and delicate area to treat.

Not all the fillers or bio revitalizers on the market can be able to give nice and long lasting results.

You may notice small bumps at the injection sites while the product is absorbed – this is normal and subsides within a day or two. If you are having your neck treated, the bumps may last a little longer as skin there is thinner. You may also experience mild redness, tenderness or itching temporarily.

How long does it take to recover from Plenhyage?

Plenhyage has an excellent safety record, although it is not uncommon to get some mild swelling and redness surrounding the raised blebs for up to 48 hours. Beyond that, bruising can occur which may take up to 10 days to resolve.

Is Plenhyage XL a dermal filler?

No, dermal fillers simply add volume to the skin. Plenhyage XL is different, in that it stimulates regeneration. We call it one of our 'injections for skin quality' as it also adds hydration for improvement to the texture and appearance of the skin.

Is Plenhyage a skin booster?

A good reason to opt for Plenhyage XL is the fact that this is a medical grade injectable skin boosting solution that repairs and regenerates skin tissue. Different from Hyaluronic Acid skin boosters, the polynucleotides in Plenhyage XL make it a highly versatile product with a host of potential applications.

What does the treatment involve?

You will initially have numbing cream applied to your face, to ensure you are quite comfortable.

The treatment involves lots of tiny injections around your eye, resulting in multiple raised blisters which may be apparent afterwards for up to 3 days. We may also use a cannula for other areas of the face or neck.
